As a proud Conference Partner, Griffith University is delighted to provide the Queensland Conservatorium as a premier venue for our Music Ahead conference. Located in Brisbane’s dynamic arts precinct, the Conservatorium stands alongside cultural institutions such as the Queensland Performing Arts Centre(QPAC), ABC, Opera Queensland, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and Queensland College of Art.
This leading music and performing arts school offers a full range of programs—from pre-tertiary to postgraduate and research—delivered by world-renowned performers, educators, and researchers. Each year, the Conservatorium hosts over 250 performances across its South Bank venues, covering classical, jazz, musical theatre, opera, new music, popular music, alumni, and guest artists. Its facilities are among the finest in the industry, boasting superior acoustics, architectural excellence, and advanced technology.
Accommodation
The ASME 25th National conference has secured discounted accommodation rates at a number of properties within a short walking distance from the conference venue. You can take advantage of these rates by booking accommodation when purchasing your conference ticket. You will not be charged for the accommodation at the time of registration. Hotels will use the credit card provided to secure and finalise bookings according to their payment policies. You can add accommodation to your registration later but room blocks are limited so to avoid disappointment book now!
