We ask for your personal data to facilitate your involvement in the ASME 25th National Conference 2025. Your data may be shared with other organisations and third parties in order to process your involvement.  This will include: 

  • Conference venue (in the instance of dietary and accessibility requirements) 

  • Accommodation hotel 

  • Stripe payment gateway 

  • Microsoft Azure 

YOUR CONTACT DETAILS IN THE ATTENDEE APP

Your First Name, Last Name and Organisation will be shared on the conference app. You will receive your login details to the app closer to the event to adjust your profile and set your sharing preferences.

HOW LONG WILL WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data will be retained by us after the conclusion of this event and for promotion of any future ASME National Conferences.

You retain the right to ask us about your personal data at any time. Please contact us at asmeconference@nectarcc.com.au with any enquiries you may have.

THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW YOUR CONSENT

You retain the right to withdraw consent to use your personal data at any time.

Please be aware that a withdrawal of consent before the start of the conference will incur full event cancellation and cancellation fees as per the registration terms and conditions.

The conference will be held at the Queensland Conservatorium at Griffith University, South Bank in Brisbane between the 26th - 29th September 2025.

Accommodation

​The ASME 25th National Conference has secured discounted accommodation rates with a number of hotels in close proximity to the Queensland Conservatorium. Conference Delegates can take advantage of these rates by booking accommodation from the options in the listings below.

You will not be charged for the accommodation at the time of registration. Hotels will use the credit card provided to secure and finalise bookings according to their payment policies. Terms and conditions for each hotel are available from the links in the listings below. If you wish to make payment with a different credit card, please let us know in advance by sending a written request to asmeconference@nectarcc.com.au

You can add accommodation to your registration later but room blocks are limited so to avoid disappointment book now. Tick the No Accommodation Required checkbox to proceed to the next page of the form without accommodation.

PAYMENT Credit Card details are required as a guarantee at time of booking. Hotel requires a security pre-authorisation of $50.00 per room from a credit card or a $100.00 cash deposit per room, per night from all guests checking into the hotel. Upon check out, any unused portion of the cash will be refunded to the guest and credit card pre-authorisations returned to the credit card (may take up to five [5] business days). CANCELLATIONS Bookings cancelled more than 15 days prior to arrival: No cancellation fee will apply Bookings cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival: Full cancellation fees will apply. Any no shows will be charged full cancellation fees.
