The Royal International Convention Centre is Australia’s only Green Globe certified convention centre, making it one of the most environmentally sustainable venues of its kind in the nation. HOW TO GET THERE:
The Royal International Convention Centre is conveniently located just 1.5km from the city's CBD in Bowen Hills and 15 minutes from the Brisbane Airport, within the Brisbane Showground Precinct.
Parking: There are three undercover parking facilities within the Brisbane Showgrounds, with a total capacity of more than 1,100 vehicles. These are located on Gregory Terrace, O'Connell Terrance and King Street.
Public Transport: The Brisbane Showgrounds is in close proximity to numerous public transport options. With the Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley Train Station within a 10 min walk as well as buses stopping regularly at the Bowen Bridge Road Bus Stop.
ACCOMMODATION
ABC25 has secured discounted accommodation rates at a number of properties within a short walking distance from the conference venue. You can take advantage of these rates by booking accommodation when purchasing your conference ticket. You will not be charged for the accommodation at the time of registration. Hotels will use the credit card provided to secure and finalise bookings according to their payment policies. You can add accommodation to your registration later but room blocks are limited so to avoid disappointment book now!
