Professor Timothy Sullivan
Professor of Ophthalmology. University of QueenslandAfter completing Ophthalmology training, Prof Sullivan undertook subspecialty Training in Oculoplastics, Lacrimal and Orbital Disease at Moorfields Hospital, London, and Paediatric Ophthalmology at Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. In 1992 he started at the Terrace Eye Centre and Northside Eye Specialists.
He established Oculoplastic Clinics at the RoyalBrisbane and Queensland Children’s Hospitals. He has an academic appointment as Professor of Ophthalmology, University of Queensmand. He has published over 160 papers, 10 chapters and given over 600 presentations. He has interests in Orbital Oncology, Thyroid EyeDisease, and Paediatric Oculoplastic disorders. He is involved in teaching, having trained 25 Fellows around the world, registrars and medical students. He is a former President of ANZSOPS and APSOPRS, Fellow of ASOPRS and ESOPRS, and is current President of the International Thyroid Eye Disease Society.

Dr Kieren Darcy
Mr Kieren Darcy is a highly qualified, professional, caring Consultant Eye Surgeon specialising in corneal, cataract and refractive surgery, committed to patient-focused care. He works privately at Vision Care Clinic and in the NHS as the Head of Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the much respected Bristol Eye Hospital, part of the University of Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.
Kieren began as a General Surgeon and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons England. He specialised in Ophthalmology in 2007, training in London and the South-West of England and was the winner of the revered Harcourt Medal during his training. This acclaimed award is bestowed on the Ophthalmologist who performs top of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists Consultant examinations. He has also completed two subspecialist fellowships in Corneal and Refractive Surgery, first in Bristol and then at the highly acclaimed Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
Kieren is passionate about patient safety and vision outcomes, sitting on the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Refractive Surgery Working Group, a committee tasked with enhancing standards and ensuring thorough accreditation for Refractive Surgeons wishing to treat in the UK.
