The FSRACA National Conference 2026 is proud to be hosted at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC), nestled in the vibrant heart of Broadbeach. Public Transport

Getting to and from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) is seamless, with convenient public transport links connecting the venue directly to the coastal strip, surrounding precincts and major transport hubs.

G:link Light Rail (Tram)

  • Closest Stop: Broadbeach North Station is located right outside GCCEC (less than a 2-minute walk / 150 metres from the entrance).

  • Coverage & Frequency: Services run every 7 to 15 minutes throughout the day. The line extends north to Surfers Paradise, Southport, and Helensvale, and south through Broadbeach, Miami, and Burleigh Heads.

Train & Regional Connections

  • From Brisbane CBD / Airport: Take the Queensland Rail train service (or Brisbane Airtrain) to Helensvale Station. From Helensvale, transfer directly to the G:link light rail southbound to Broadbeach North Station.

Airport Access

  • Gold Coast Airport (OOL): Take the Route 777 express bus from the terminal to Burleigh Heads, then transfer to the G:link light rail northbound to Broadbeach North Station. Taxis and rideshares take approximately 25–30 minutes door-to-door.

  • Brisbane Airport (BNE): Take the Airtrain to Helensvale Station and switch to the G:link light rail.

Local Bus Services

  • Bus stops are located adjacent to the venue on the Gold Coast Highway and at the nearby Broadbeach South Interchange. Key local bus lines servicing the area include routes 705, 738, 741, and 750.

Ticketing & Fares

  • Payment Options: Translink supports Smart Ticketing, allowing passengers to tap on and tap off using a contactless credit/debit card, smart device (Apple Pay / Google Pay), or a Translink go card.

  • Flat Rate: All Translink bus, tram, and train journeys across Queensland operate on a 50-cent flat fare per trip.

Taxis & Rideshares

  • Dedicated drop-off and pick-up zones for taxis and rideshare vehicles (Uber, DiDi, etc.) are available directly under the covered main entrance (porte-cochère) off the Gold Coast Highway.
