The Austroads Bridge Conference will be held in Brisbane, Queensland from 25 – 27 June 2025. The conference brings together industry experts, bridge practitioners, material scientists and structural engineers from across Australasia.
Submissions are open for:
- Oral presentation on the full paper
- Poster presentation.
Abstracts can be submitted for the following themes:
- Bridge Analysis, Design and Assessment
- Bridge Construction
- Bridge Technology
- Bridge Asset Management
- Bridge Management Strategies
- Bridge Engineering Heritage
- Sustainability and Life Cycle Cost
- Codes and Standards
- Material Technology
- Field Applications and Case Studies
- Lessons Learnt from Bridge Damages and Failures
- Load Assessment
- Feature Projects.
Submission Guidelines
Abstracts must be submitted electronically on this portal no later than 16 August 2024.
Abstracts should briefly outline the main features, results and conclusions as well as their general significance, and contain relevant references if necessary.
- The abstract must be a maximum of 300 words
- Converted to Portable Document Format (PDF)
- Be written in English in Times-Roman font
- Contain the full name and full address of author(s). In the case of joint authors, the name of the author who will actually present the paper at the Conference should be indicated with an asterisk.
- A maximum of two images in the abstract is allowed.
