WHY ARE WE PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We ask for your personal data to facilitate your involvement in the RANZCO QLD Branch ASM 2025. Your data may be shared with other organisations and third parties in order to process your involvement.  This will include: 

  • Conference venue (in the instance of dietary and accessibility requirements) 

  • Accommodation hotel 

  • Stripe payment gateway 

  • Microsoft Azure 

 

YOUR CONTACT DETAILS IN THE ATTENDEE APP

Your First Name, Last Name and Organisation will be shared on the conference app. You will receive your login details to the app closer to the event to adjust your profile and set your sharing preferences.

 

HOW LONG WILL WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data will be retained by us after the conclusion of this event and for promotion of any future RANZCO QLD Branch meetings.

Please be aware that a withdrawal of consent before the start of the conference will incur full event cancellation and cancellation fees as per the registration terms and conditions.

Welcome to the delegate registration portal for the 2025 RANZCO Queensland Branch Annual Scientific Meeting. The meeting will be taking place from 22nd August to 24th August 2025 at the JW Marriott, Gold Coast.  

This prestigious event brings together ophthalmologists, researchers and RANZCO Fellows with a shared passion for advancing eye care.

You'll be able to purchase full conference tickets, or individual day tickets.

  • The above registration fees are GST inclusive. Please note, a surcharge fee is applicable to payments made using a credit card.
  • All full conference registrations are inclusive of the social functions.
  • Day only registrations are inclusive of the social functions scheduled on that day only.
  • Additional networking and dinner tickets are available to purchase for partners and colleagues during the registration process.
  • Accommodation at the JW Marriott can be secured as part of the registration process.

PAYMENT Guests credit cards will be charge in full on 23 July 25. <Br> ON ARRIVAL Guests are required to provide a physical debit or credit card upon check in to cover incidentals. Digital Wallet payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay are not supported at the Resort during check-in and check-out process. A $100.00 bond per night will be held against the card as a pre-authorisation. If a credit card cannot be supplied, then a $100 cash (or eftpos) bond per night will be required with photo identification. <br> CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE 1.5% credit card surcharge will apply to all credit card payments <br> CANCELLATION Before 23 July 2025 - Room can be cancelled without penalty. After 23 July 2025 (30 days prior to arrival) - 100% cancellation fee will apply. No shows will incurr a 100% cancellation fee
