DELEGATE REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Payment of registration fees

Payment must accompany all registrations and may be made by

  • Credit Card
  • Electronic funds transfer

A remittance advice must also be forwarded by email to iaqassembly@nectarcc.com.au.  All tickets must be paid in full by midnight 27 August 2021. Otherwise your ticket might be cancelled.

 

Payment Policy

  • Full payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date and must be received prior to the conference dates.  
  • We will accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express for online payments. A processing fee of 2% will apply to registrations paid with Mastercard and Visa, and 3.5% for American Express credit cards.
  • Late fees of 5% will apply to any outstanding invoices after the conclusion of the conference. 
  • If payment is not received by the closing date of the release of tickets, the price will default to the next release pricing.

 

Confirmation of Registration

  • Registrations will be acknowledged by email to the address nominated during the registration process. A tax invoice will be attached to this email. If you have not received confirmation within seven days please contact iaqassembly@nectarcc.com.au

 

Substitutions

  • Attendees who are unable to attend the conference are welcome to nominate a substitute delegate up until and including 1 September 2021 at no extra cost. Please contact the event team at iaqassembly@nectarcc.com.au  as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements for substitution.
  • Registrations cannot be shared - one registration per delegate.

 

Cancellation policy 

  • Conference registrations can be cancelled and a refund of registration fees less a cancellation administration fee of $250 will be made if written cancellation via iaqassembly@nectarcc.com.au is received  before 27 August 2021. 
  • If you would like to request a refund, please email iaqassembly@nectarcc.com.au. All refunds will be made within 3 to 7 business days and if you have not received a refund within that time period, please contact us.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 27 August 2021 with the exception of those directly affected by COVID-19, however exact substitutions will be possible up to and including 1 September 2021.
  • If the in-person event is cancelled due to Government restrictions, the event will be delivered via the online platform to all registered delegates. There will not be any refunds issued on this basis. 
  • Refunds from any deposits forwarded to hotels, tour companies or other related business will be at the discretion of the supplier.

 

Privacy Policy

  • Nectar Creative Communications (the contracted registration management company for The Infrastructure Association of Queensland)  is concerned with the protection of your privacy. We acknowledge and abide by your obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) guidelines under the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act). Nectar Creative Communications works with a registration software supplier that complies with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 Data Security Standards. All data provided is encrypted and transmitted via Secure Socket Layers (SSL) technology and it is hosted in a top-tier, world-class data centre.  For a full copy of our privacy policy - click here. 

 

Social functions

  • The networking function ticket is included in the registration fee for full conference and day ticket delegates.
  • Additional networking function tickets are available for purchase for guests accompanying a conference delegate. 
  • No refunds will be given for cancellation of additional networking function tickets,  however exact substitutions will be possible up to 1 September 2021.

 

Alterations to the program, cancellation or postponement of the conference/event:

  • The IAQ Infrastructure Assembly 2021 and it’s organisers, Infrastructure Association of Queensland Inc reserve the right to make alterations to the arrangements of conference/event as published, either before or during the conference/event.
  • In the unlikely event of the conference/event being cancelled, a full refund will be made less any credit card fees. Liability will be limited to the registration fee paid by the delegate.
  • In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the conference/event is being postponed or the dates being changed, The IAQ Infrastructure Assembly 2021 and it’s organisers, Infrastructure Association of Queensland Inc shall not be liable for expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate.

 

Speakers’ Views

  • Views expressed by the speakers are their own. The IAQ Infrastructure Assembly 2021 and it’s organisers, Infrastructure Association of Queensland Inc cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed by any speaker at the conference/event or any material provided to delegates.

 

Insurance

  • In the event that a delegate is unable to attend the conference/event for any reason, The IAQ Infrastructure Assembly 2021 and it’s organisers, Infrastructure Association of Queensland Inc is not responsible for any costs incurred by the delegate. It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference/event.
  • The IAQ Infrastructure Assembly 2021 and it’s organisers, Infrastructure Association of Queensland Inc do not accept responsibility for any loss, costs, charges or fines incurred by delegates in the process of attending the conference.

 

Photography & Filming

  • For promotional purposes, there may be a media, professional photographer and video production taking place during the conference/event. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise us via email at  iaqassembly@nectarcc.com.au 

 

Conference App

  • Upon registration, your contact details including names, position and organisation will be updated on the Conference App where other delegates can view your profile and send a message via app. You will have an opportunity to opt-out from this when you first log-in to the app. Your conference app log-in details will be sent to you prior to the conference.

 

COVID 19 Situation

  • By attending the IAQ Infrastructure Assembly you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 exist in any public place where people are present and agree not to hold Infrastructure Association of Queensland Inc Inc. liable for any illness or injury.
  • COVID-19 situation: The situation in relation to COVID-19 is currently uncertain. If IAQ (Infrastructure Association of Australia) considers, in its absolute discretion, that the event should be postponed or cancelled, IAQ will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable. In such case, IAQ will not be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, expenditure or damage to you incurred as a result of such postponement or cancellation of the event.
