WHY ARE WE PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We ask for your personal data to facilitate your involvement in the Dental Assistants Professional Conference 2024. Your data may be shared with other organisations and third parties in order to process your involvement. This will include: 

  • Conference venue (in the instance of dietary and accessibility requirements) 

  • Accommodation hotel 

  • Stripe payment gateway 

  • Microsoft Azure 

 

YOUR CONTACT DETAILS IN THE ATTENDEE APP

Your First Name, Last Name and Organisation will be shared on the conference app. You will receive your login details to the app closer to the event to adjust your profile and set your sharing preferences.

 

HOW LONG WILL WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data will be retained by us after the conclusion of this event and for promotion of any future Dental Assistants Professional Conferences.

Please be aware that a withdrawal of consent before the start of the conference will incur full event cancellation and cancellation fees as per the registration terms and conditions.

  • The above registration fees are GST inclusive. Please note, a surcharge fee is applicable to payments made using a credit card  
  • All conference registrations are inclusive of the Networking Function   
  • Late registrations (after 18 October) will incur an administration fee of $25 per person. 
  • Payment via invoice will not be available after 11th October 2024.  Any registrations after that date must be paid via credit card.

Accommodation

​The Dental Assistants Professional Conference 2024 has secured discounted accommodation rates at the Rydges World Square and Veriu Central Hotel which is a short 5 minute walk to the conference venue. Conference Delegates can take advantage of these rates by booking accommodation from the options in the listings below.

You will not be charged for the accommodation at the time of registration. Hotels will use the credit card provided to secure and finalise bookings according to their payment policies. Terms and conditions for each hotel are available from the links in the listings below. If you wish to make payment with a different credit card, please let us know in advance by sending a written request to dapa@nectarcc.com.au

You can add accommodation to your registration later but room blocks are limited so to avoid disappointment book now. Tick the No Accommodation Required checkbox to proceed to the next page of the form without accommodation.

CHECK- IN PROCEDURE The hotel will require a pre-authorisation on check-in for all individual guests, the card will be charged for all outstanding amounts on arrival. Guests will be required to present a photo ID at check-in. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS A credit card is required to guarantee any incidentals that may be incurred during the event, any outstanding amounts are payable upon departure. The following credit card surcharge fees will apply: VISA (1.50%) / M/C (1.50%) / AMEX(1.50%) / DINERS(1.50%) BREAKFAST Full buffet breakfast is available at $32.00 per person per day CANCELLATION Up to 15 days prior to arrival - No penalty will apply Within 15 days prior to arrival - Full cancellation fee will apply NO SHOWS “No Shows” will be subject to a minimum charge of one night’s room charge, to a maximum of all room nights booked, at the contracted rate for the entire stay.
