Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Queensland (ATSIHQ) are excited to confirm that we will host our first housing conference on 16 & 17 November 2022 in Brisbane. The 2022 Housing First Nations Conference will be the premier policy and networking forum for the Queensland housing sector.

We are delighted to welcome housing and homelessness providers, government leaders, advocates, peak bodies and policy writers. This exciting conference will bring together community housing providers and stakeholders from all over Australia along with highly respected speakers, decision-makers, businesses and representative bodies for a two-day event to explore key issues, developments, opportunities and solutions to create greater Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing outcomes in Queensland.

During this theme, we will hear from a variety of leaders who will discuss Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing at a National level, including the future plans of housing in Australia.

A Deep Dive into Housing in Queensland
During this theme, we will take a close look at housing in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing in Queensland including data, solutions and overcoming the current challenges.

A Focus on Regional Housing in Queensland
During this theme, we will unpack what Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing looks like in regional and remote Queensland and why investment is so important to these communities.

Housing Learnings From Outside Queensland
During this theme, we will learn from a range of leaders about what they have been doing to create better Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing outcomes across Australia.
